Due to the current health situation, there is a great need to protect ourselves with face masks along with other methods. We saw that these masks block the person's view and appearance, hiding their expressions. So much of the way we communicate with each other is through non-verbal cues, making it crucial that we see one another clearly while interacting.
Hence is our effort to bring a mask which is comfortable, stylish, transparent, reusable, washable/ sterilizable and resistant to bacterial contaminations. We will be going through the FDA Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) process shortly.
Here are few properties listed below:
This is a Respirator Rating Letter Class. It stands for “Non-Oil” meaning that if no oil-based particulates are present, then you can use the mask in the work environment. Other masks ratings are R (resistant to oil for 8 hours) and P (oil proof).
Masks ending in a 95, have a 95 percent efficiency. Masks ending in a 99 have a 99 percent efficiency. Masks ending in 100 are 99.97 percent efficient and that is the same as a HEPA quality filter.
The masks filter out contaminants like dust, mists and fumes. The minimum size of .25 micron of particulates and large droplets won’t pass through the barrier, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC.)
The filtration material on the mask is an electrostatic non-woven polypropylene fiber.
Vijay Reddy, the founder of Synthium Health, has been instrumental in creating this evolutionary Tilium™ clear mask, N95 style, which is much needed during the current health crisis where masks became an essential part of one’s outfit.
Vijay leads the company with more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, from technology to services, and works with highly experienced management and board.
Due to the constantly changing times we are in, we saw there were shortages for PPE products. Masks became essential and they blocked the facial expressions of the wearer. Hence, we started working on transparent N95 masks around May 2020.
